Who are we? 

We are a traditional karate academy that specializes in Shotokan Karate and belong to the largest karate federation in the world based in Japan, the Shotokan Karate International Federation or SKIF. We have been teaching in the Sacramento Community for 30 years and our mission is to provide a quality program that instills discipline, respect, and character in all. 

What we do?

New Phase Karate focuses on providing our students with the best quality training to develop physically and mentally. We are a USAA/AAU Karate registered school that has created a number of national champions and USA team members. By combining the traditional and sports aspects of our martial art, we are able to make a difference in our community through athletics. 

  Fitness and Exercise

    Our classes are highly active and engaging in order to get in shape and have fun doing it!

  Youth Development

     We have the necessary tools to teach youth discipline, respect, and values that will better their future. 

  Self-Defense

    The meaning of karate is"empty hands." Our duty is to instill the necessary values that create a safer community for all.
